Freshdesk now supports multi-currency payments

Written by on May 22, 2014

Jan 2017 Update: The pricing for Freshdesk the product has been updated since. Please check our pricing page for further information.

We’re happy to announce that Freshdesk now supports payments in more than just the Dollar, the unofficial standard currency of the world.

So if you have a credit card which charges by the Euro, the South African Rand, the Brazilian Real or the Indian Rupee, kick back, relax and break out the wine because you no longer have to worry about currency conversion fees or keeping an eye on the exchange rate as the dollar dips and rises.

This is our plan-wise breakdown of how much it’ll cost (price per agent per month billed annually) you, depending on which currency you love:

So, that’s one for every continent in the world, except Australia (sorry, mate!) and Antarctica (we are not prepared to deal in fish). Here’s the best part: there are no terms and conditions, no additional tax. What you see is what you get. For real.

You can also pay for phone credits in your local currency; for instance, €40 will get you phone credits worth $50. Have any questions? Drop us a line in the comments section below or shoot us an email at support(at)freshdesk(dot)com. We’re always happy to help!

Will you reevaluate these prices, in accordance with currency movement- particularly, the Rand Rate, which is extremely High (Rand amount) to the dollar at the moment.

How come it says 29$ for Garden instead of 20€ or at least 25$ in my dashboard though?

    • freshdesk

Correct me if I’m wrong but are you referring to the Plans and Billing section in Admin when you say Dashboard? There should be a dropdown menu to your right (that reads USD) that lets you switch between currencies. And it’s $29 for Garden instead of $25 because it’s monthly billing and not annual billing.

It seems I have misread something yesterday about the pricing. Perhaps I mixed something up with Euros and Dollars concerning the annual billing, sorry about that.
Nevertheless, a dropdown menu like you describe doesn’t exist in my dashboard which is already being worked on (#169794).
